Well.. needless to say I've been impressed with this Fuji 1400. for $200 (pm/rebate) this thing is amazing. Now I like it, but my friend took some shots on the road last week that really impressed me.

This file is kind of big (600k or so) but take a look. This picture was taken on the highway going about 90mph..

Wow, nice picture. WooHoo I sure am glad that I bought the Fuji Finepix 1400 also. When does the rebate expire?

I haven't figured out how to use the camera yet, will have to fiddle around with it, then learn the other stuff from the directions.

Expired 31st of January =\, it was that one that Fuji was claiming to have cancelled, but it came through.

DAMN!!! One thing I didn't like about my camera (DC265) is the blurring when taking high speed shots... shutter isn't fast enough...

But damn that Fuji looks good...

Very nice! I've been wanting to get a digital camera. How much was it before the rebate?

Here's a review of the Fuji Finepix 1400 which includes sample pictures.

The lowest price for this camera is $228 but you could do a lot better if you are savvy with Hot Deals and Staples.com coupon and price matching.

$299.98 Fuji Finepix 1400 @ Staples.com
-$30 off $200 coupon
-free shipping
-$71.98 price match difference
============================================================
$198 without rebate

Make that $148 after $50 rebate.

Hey...sounds great. Now I just need the money to get it and I'm set. lol It looks pretty good for the price. Better than buying one of the cheaper ones that are only around $39.00 with crappy resolution. :)

Oh, does this mean we are going to see a pic of you soon, RossMAN? :)

i got a ricoh digital camera and it's pretty good, except for the flash... that thing is either too powerful or the camera is really sensitive to white light, cuz when i use it every thing is jus WHITE.... dang...

My friend's friend :). They were going to some Audi/VW thing in Sarasota..

notice he had the underbody painted to match... I think he's trying to make it look like an S4 that way...

I got a Finepix 1400 for Christmas. I really like it and was able to use it right out of the box. It's pretty intuitive. The only thing I didn't like is that it only comes with a 4MB card, but I was able to get the upgrade when Staples had the 16MB card promotion awhile back. I also took advantage of their flash adapter promotion as well. So it was a pretty good deal for me. After pricematching with Staples and the rebate, I got mine for $136.
