I just came across the official comic book for the game, and although I don't normally read comic books, I had to pick it up. The art is in the same style as the manuals (very sketchy, absolutely beautiful).
The story follows that of MGS:SoL very well, but includes several portions of the story that weren't in the game. I loved the story, personally, so it was a pretty big hit for me. I heartily recommend it. They're only on issue 3 right now, so anyone who wants to can pick up all the issues.
