Just thought i'd share this cause i recently discovered that there are no good bluetooth gamepads out there for PC.
I wanted one to use with my MSI Wind netbook to play classic emulation games like Mame arcade and Snes without the bother of usb dongles or wires. blutooth is just more natural and hassle free when having a notebook. If you want to play modern games, i highly suggest you just get a wireless 360 gamepad package that comes with the reciever and battery pack.
Assuming you already have bluetooth notebook. You just need a PS3 controller and some software. Most of the sites with this info had outdated files or confusing instructions, but this is the best site with this info, just use my links below cause those are more updated as i couldnt get the older ones that other sites display to work.

looks daunting but actually it was pretty simple.
First download and install this:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/libusb-win32/files/
Next remove any bluetooth drivers currently installed and download freebt which will be your new bt driver that will recognize the Ps3 gamepad, it may work along with your current driver, i removed mine just in case:

Btsix:...this is the app you will run after you turn on your bluetooth assuming its off, when its all said and done. you can then turn on the PS3 controller and play.

PPjoy: allows you to map the controller, you only have to do it once. go ahead and run setup to install it now.

follow instructions on this link starting with where it says "PPJoy"

basically once btfree and libusb is installed, you use ppjoy to create a virtual joystick and point it to use the drivers found in the BTSix folder.
Plug in the gamepad, open BTsix, click address, map the gamepad and your done, you can unplug it and now be wireless and usb port free.
From this point on, you'll just run BTsix, close its dialog box and turn on the gampad.
once you map the gamepad with ppjoy, all you do is turn on your bluetooth if its off, run btsix and turn on gampad. the only annoying factor is that BTsix always opens up the dialog box, if it didnt open you could run this app at startup and save some hassle but if you run btsix at startup, you see that pop up box each time...kinda annoying but this is the best it gets unless you prefer usb dongle or wired. if anyone finds out how to disable the pop up display from showing...let me know. I usually keep my notebook in standbye mode anyway so btsix is always on, so all i have to do is grab my gamepad, turn it on and ready to play.
Using ps3 bluetooth makes it all that much more portable, no recievers to lose or wires to mess with.
If you use Mame or whatever, make sure you map the emulator to your gamepad. I use "select" key for Coin 1 insert, "Start" key for Player 1 and the rest of the buttons as normal....maybe you dont even need ppjoy, never tried without it.
hope this helps someone and saves them from googling and reading all day like i did.
