My parents dont pay for any of my shiit besides food/hygene/school/etc products but if other people get there parents to buy them stuff then thats great for them, whats the problem?

And they STILL don't. When I was 11 I just gave up on asking my parents for money so all I did was request a small pay raise for lunch. Know what that equated to? About $800-$1000 a year (more or less). The reason why I got so much (a lot for me anyways) was because I sometimes didn't eat lunch because my logic is, "why pay an extra $3-4 for a dang cookie when I could buy something for my self?
 
funny you say this. my friends and i were discussing renting a house together possibly, and one of my friend's girlfriend goes "i'm getting an apartment from my parents after 2yrs of college. my sister did. so will i."

yet, somehow, in the end they manage to still be better off
