Can anyone link me to a site that gives a good explanation of the relationship between shutter speed, aperture, depth of field, etc.? I see on that pic you used F/6.3 for 3.2 sec. Why not use more like F/3.5 for a shorter time. How would that look different? I was under the impression that digicams get grainy at long exposure times.
 
i've been so lazy lately 🙁 i like nature shots though -- and i enjoy night scenes as well.

sukhoi: go buy "understanding exposure" by bryan peterson. it's like $15 and is probably the most useful book to give you the information you need.
