That guy was driving WAY too hard on the car. Lancers can take a beating, but comon, AWD will not save your ass in all situations. Sorry he had to lose such a fine car

The reason he made the mistake was the fact that he was driving WAY to hard. You can only slide so much on one set of tires before they begin to lose grip.
you gotta admit it looked pretty badass though....I was just like damn...that cats got some skills
I've done seen AWD drifting in person and yes, its impressive. But the driver of this car didn't know the limits and thats why he ended up going to the hospital.
reminds me of power slides on old school mario kart...once you got them down they were real easy...couldn't imagine actually pullin that sh1t in a car tho

i never understood the point of drifting like that on cement. Dirt i can see because of the lack of traction. But why on cement? I would think that slowing down until past apex and then gunnign it would be better, since more speed is gained coming out of the turn. People need to realize that Gran Turismo is a game, not real life

Also, on AWD cars, you don't get the punch after apexing a turn as you do with a RWD equivalent. Thats why if you ask any WRX or Evo's to go from a roll they kinda digress and turn you down. All their go is made from a stop.

In fact, I think they stressed braking down hard in a straight line before coming into a turn, turning as usual, and accelerating hard as you come out of the turn.
At least that's how I played the game.

At least that's how I played the game. >>
you shoudl see the videos of guys drifting in GT3. Someone posted it here about 4 months ago.
