NFL to salute plummer

While toiling in the Arizona desert for six NFL seasons, awards were as scarce as
fresh water for quarterback Jake Plummer. But three games into his career with the
Broncos, Plummer is sipping success. Today, the NFL will name Plummer the AFC
offensive player of the week for his performance Monday night in Denver's 31-10
thrashing of the Oakland Raiders.
