What kind of setup do you go with?


ATI card + Different card for DVR or TV Out so you can game on your TV?

NVidia card + Different card for DVR or TV Out so you can game on your TV?

Or

Do you just use your ATI/Nvidia card's TV out when you want to do it up on the big screen?
 
I think that it's a matter of opinion on which card to get, ATI vs Nvidia. I personally like Nvidia more, but that's just my opinion.

I only use my tv out when I want to put it up on the big screen. Typically the fonts are too blurry to be seen on the TV for normal computer use.

I use my AIW 9700pro, HDTV Wonder and 2 eHome Wonder cards for Gaming, PVR duties and output to my Widescreen display. Currently running MCE 2005.
 
for PVR you need to use a PCI TV Card

i run dual mon on my Nvidia Card, it also has TV out which i never use, i dont game much, 1600x1200 is fine for watching videos and my TV is like 5 feet from my comp and i just watch DVDs on that
