Chris Martin from Coldplay SOUNDS like Dave Matthews but that's about where any comparisons end.

Cold Play = SO EXTRA DOUBLE BLAH... it is SUCH crappy radio music.

sorry, that's just IMO... but I cannot stand that band. also, I think DMB sucks.

what the hell. first of all it's coldplay. second of all if Dave Matthews had half the writing talent that Chris Martin did then I could understand the attraction to Dave Matthews. Secondly, they sound nothing alike.

my bad, it is Coldplay, and they do sound nothing alike, I was kind of wondering the comparison myself. On the song writting, Dave's best writting is from their older albums

I just bought 'Parachutes' on Saturday and I've been hooked. Even before it I was hooked (MP3s). Coldplay rocks, however, they are very different from DMB (another of my favorite bands).
