I had a converstaion about this with a close friend the other day. He got divorced about 2 years ago, I'm going through it now. Both our wives treated us like sh*t for years, but we tried to make it work. His words of wisdom to me were, "would you keep a friend that did that to you?" Hell no! Time to move on.

<< BAH HUMBUG! >>

Quite right. Just keep that thought in your mind the next time you want to ask a girl out. It'll save you a lot of trouble. :disgust:

*Sigh*, just refreshed some of my tragic memories. Scrooge2, don't give up on girls like that. you may find someone else to compensate this girl's lost.

One of the problems that i believe is that girls reazlie the passion that guys have for them a bit late. On the top of that they believe that are to be loved. But don't believe in returning the love. This is all love is about. Give away whatever you have and don't expect anything back. :(

scroge2, I had the same thing in high school. so I can relate. Same, dance situation.. one second she was tired, next she was dancing with a guy later I heard she wants out (and that too she didnt tell me directly I got it from a friend who is a friend who is a friend).

Anyway take advantage, dont let it drown you. I took advantage, went around with girls, got really popular and guess what she wanted in and I said "no"..
Enjoy life.. the best days are ahead.

haha at least your girl didn't ring up the police and give them your private letters telling them you were a paranoid schizophrenic when you broke up.
Actually I told the biitch I didn't want to know her and that she was a bad person (in a roundabout way) and she blew a fuse.

Oh by the way, without pain and suffering there can be no happiness. How would you know what happiness is if you don't know what pain and suffering is? You'd just go through a monotonous life. This break up will only make it sweeter the next time you find a significant other.

Yeah... girls are quite evil! And it gets even harder when you're alone at nights remembering the past. That's why you move on to better things.. errr people (I gotta becareful what I say cuz my gf is lurking around here somewhere ;) ). Anyways... sorry about your situation, but I think for every guy that's got his heart broken, there's probably a girl out there who has had her's broken too... so sooner or later you guys pair up. And for those who break people's hearts, they'll find each other, break up, and bounce around amongst themselves like ping pong balls. And if all I'm saying doesn't work or doesn't come true, show up to your high school reunion in your new 911 Turbo and park it next to her date's car. :)

Hehe.. when my girl dumped me, I borrowed High Fidelity by John Cussack. Quite enjoyable, since he was getting dumped by girls too.. :)
