Has anyone actually received their monitor within the past few days? And if so, how long ago did you order?

I ordered mine on January 5, and the "estimated ship date" is still listed as "On or before 1/14/2005" - I kind of doubt that they're going to make that date.

How hard is it really for Dell to keep the monitors they're selling in stock? :roll: I ordered a 2001FP back in November and waited over three weeks before I finally cancelled my order. Not to mention, I'm moving back to the university dorms at the beginning of next week, and I'll have to drive back here (~175 miles) to pick it up whenever (if ever?) they do decide to finally ship the damn thing. I'm told that I can't have them change my address without actually cancelling and re-placing the order - which would add another two weeks to my wait time, at the least.

Thoughts, anyone?
 
Well, color me surprised....

It would figure that less than an hour after I post this, they ship my monitor. 😛 (Now I'll just have to hope I get it by Monday...)

I know there were at least a few other members here who had 2005FPW orders with estimated ship dates of 1/14 as well, so hopefully you guys will get yours soon too. 🙂
 
MIne shipped today. How do i run the Backlighting and the dead pixel tests? Or will i notice these potential problems from general usage.
 
Look for dead pixels on a white background and if you see any small dots that can't be cleaned off the screen they're probably dead pixels. Whether they bother you or not is up to you. To look for backlight leakage do a preview of the 'blank' screensaver which is all black and look for any lighter tinted areas that are brighter than the middle. Leakage is generally in the corners but can be on the sides or top/bottom.
 
status on dell.com for my order finally says shipped just today so im kinda stoked i ordered mine on the 4th so it took almost 3 weeks

I ordered mine on the 11th of january and it says shipped on the 15th with an arrival between the 18th and the 20th.

Do you think I will get a revision A01??
