Just met with an old work colleague who being in the computer fixin game had a 94 Corolla.
Put 700k miles on it, one engine swap
Had an accident over some rail tracks that wrote it off otherwise he'd probably still drive it.

So, what does he replace it with? 2007 Corolla
There, that should make you happy whenever I defend domestics, feel free to trot this out

In the same vein I popped the hood of my Prius yesterday and the inverter coolant says it want its first change at 150000. Yep, four zeroes!

Good to know. Guess I won't be replacing my 1993 anytime soon, barring any accident. Topped the 222,222 mark recently.

No, I have a family friend that had a 97 camry and a 2007.

Guess which one got replaced by a 2010 Fusion Sport two months ago?

lol. Well, I guess I have a real hate for the Camry's since they are being HEAVILY used for gypsy cab service here in NYC. They seem to have replaced the Lincoln Continentals as the cab of choice.

Even the yellow cabs in Manhattan are using them more and more.

I felt bad for this lady at work who bought one just before this Taxi trend started. She hates her car because of it.

Loved my old '92 Corolla. That thing was buiilt like a tank compared to new cars. Had some lady in a Minivan back up into it while it was parked. Totally trashed her bumper and fender. Only got a tiny dent on my car, LOL. The bumper covers were still metal.
