i'm trying to go both ways by going vinyl and cd... problem is i'm a little lost with the CD part... not like the tried and tested Technnics/Vestax combination for turntablists... i dont know whether to buy the Pioneer ProDJ Starter kit or a CMX-3000 Twin CD Player. Both cost around the same thing... but the CMX-3000 has a better performance/price ratio. Problem is... i dont want to end up looking like im playing with something that looks like the DM2 you buy from ToysRus...

There are not many features in a CD player.
Fast jog, quick start and durability is probably the difference in most of them.

And whats the difference in what the setup LOOKs like. It's only the sound that matters.

true...lol...but that jog wheel on the 3000 looks so damn small... i would go for the cdj-1000 which is almost as big as a vinyl but im not paying $1000 for one. :( the reason i want to go both ways is because i dont know many people who even uses the cd mixers at the clubs i go to...
