I had always been confused by "A round of a pause" and what it meant. I think I was in middle school until I saw it spelled out somewhere. It only made slightly more sense then. "Clap" seemed like a perfectly suitable word instead.


Could we get a round of the "clap"? hmmmmmm ;)

My thinking was to do away with the "round of" as well. "Round of applause" = "clap", no?
