It will officially support it via the new bios update which can be found on on ECS's web site
linky
It may be challenging sometimes to configure it but I have build around 10 systems using this board and you can not beat
it for the money and apparently for exandability options....

Thx to www.overclockers.com for the news..

I concur, it's still 1 of the best price/performance socket A boards around-bump!

Well I am a little bit mad because I have decided about 7 months ago to get a fancy board - Abit KT7A Raid.
It turned out that this board wont even officially support Ahtlon XP's. Soon I would have to upgrade again and guess what my choice
will be???
I will never get a board which costs more than a $100.00 bucks, it is not that I am cheap... it is a matter of cost effectivness I guess...
It is a paradox that users of a board for $60.00 have the best expandability options .. true it has no overclocking options but I would trade the overclocking options from my Abit for AMD Thoroughbred support...
I feel stupid because I think that I know what I am doing yet during the last couple of months I have made very stupid upgrade choices...
I've got KT133A chipset board and I have decided to stick to SDRAM........and now It looks like I would have to replace board and memory (which costs 3X as much as 7 moths ago)...

adlep,

I think if your KT7A board is version 1.3 or later you can upgrade to the XP with just a bios flash............
