Aren't you tired of idiots that complain that Mythic sucks and that their realm is underpowered compared to the other 2?
They don't seem to realize that for every complaint they have, another realm has a complaint about their realm?


Probably less than 1% of you here even play DAoC, but for those who do, what do you think? Get this BS whining all day in your guild?

Hibernia did get the shaft(atleast early on) due to it being the last realm added in beta.
 
I totally agree that hib was weak at first.. But everyone and their donkey can heal there 🙂

But as the game is now, sparing a few things here or there, all 3 realms are pretty well balanced now.

My guess is that you play in Albion.
 
yea i played in all 3..liked alb the best but stayed in mid most cause of he guild. hib was alright..cool classes but fruity environment.
 
I played Hibernia and Albion and I think Mythic does a good job. Unfortunately most of the folks I game with didn't like DAoC. :frown:
 
I feel you, Linflas. I think it is by far the best MMO to date. EQ2 and DnL might surpass it, but I am having a lot of fun with DAoC... What servers do you all play on(if you still play)
 
Right now I play on Alb Lance. I switched to play on Mid Gueine, but my friends started to play on Alb Lance again. I wish I could get a 50 on a different server though. Too many Albs on Lance.
 
Man I wish Ebay and Sony didn't threaten me with legal action if I didn't stop playing and making $ off EQ. 🙁 My guild guys in EQ moved to DAoC and love it. I never played as my wife said no sex if I did! don't be a MUD gaming addict.
 
Yeah I had albs on Lance as well.. Boring when no one wants to help you level because everyone is out camping mids and hibs =P

Sold off both my DAOC accounts long before TOA came out, made a little profit, and haven't really looked back.
The game is an enormous timesink only to find out that no matter what class you are you are underpowered but everybody and their momma will whine about you being overpowered.

Levelgrind = teh suq.

RVR Gank groups suck.

Teh Zerg suck.

Hibernia = Teh Suq.

Albion = Teh whiney suq.

Midgard = Teh underpopulated suq.

EMain Macha = Teh only place to RVR suq.

Realm points = teh suq.

Realm Abilities = Teh make the overpowered even more overpowered suq.

Master levels = Teh make the realm abilities look wussy suq.

CSR's = Teh suq.

Naming policies = Teh even suqier.

Radar users = Teh suqiest.

The fact that 3/4 of DAOC players use radar = Stupid suq.

Buffbots = teh stupid suq.

And my most favorite...


ARCHER CLASSES JUST PLAIN SUQ
 
Haven't played that game in forever. All I remember was I had a skald I played a lot and that I sold my account with a high-ish backstabbing rogue for a couple hundred bucks.
