I run my monitor at 1280x1024 @ 100 hz.

I have a Samsung 900NF

the reccomended is 1280x1024 @ 85hz but it seems to handle 100h just fine(I use BNC cables).

Well, my monitor should come in on friday, and when it does, 16x12 at 85hz.....

WTF is everyone talking about the text being small.... there's an option in the display properties that allows you to change font size..........

1280x1024@75hz Viewsonic A90F. Increased the dpi and the font sizes in display setings and everything is looking good here.

1152x864@100Hz X 2

I have a dual 19in Monitor setup. Twice the desktop space, none of the eye strain.

1152x864@100Hz X 32bit color. I bump it down to 1024x768x32 for gaming. Sony 420GS.

Same problem. Any higher, the text becomes annoyingly small and I have to play around with the font size.

Well, I was running at 1280x1024 @85hz for the longest time, but after reading this thread I have switched over to 1600x1200 @85hz and I increased the font size(now things are readable at this res😀).

This is on a 19" IBM P96 monitor.
