For a second there, I thought Google Play Movies/YT was offering me a good deal!

I've been noticing suggested results on YT to get big-name movies for £2.49, and after seeing one for Batman vs. Superman it got me thinking that it's not a bad deal in exchange for films I'm not too sure about, instead of obtaining such titles through <ahem> other means.

Then I clicked on the link... rent £2.49 SD quality :) Double the price of the DVD on Amazon to own through GPM in HD quality!

I don't know what the renting rules are like on GPM, but they're a bit weird on Amazon UK: Once you start watching, I'm pretty sure you have to finish watching within 24 hours, but if you don't start watching you can delay watching for up to 30 days. Why not just say 30 days and that's it.

I remember when renting a DVD from Blockbuster only cost like $4 or something, and I think it was often 2/$5.

Screw the 24-hour time limit. There are ways to save the video from the link.
