FOP38 = FOP32 with better fan?

Is that correct? Reason I ask is because the FOP32 is AMD-approved for 1.2GHz chips, and there is no mention of the FOP38.

Yes, fop38 comes with a much faster but not necessarily better fan. It has a very high pitched whine. I don't know of anyone who has overclocked higher with the fop38 vs the 32, most people just get lower temps.

no, dude, the FOp 32 is w/ a black heatsink. Fop32-1 has more fins, and is an anionized aluminum color heatsink.

millisec fop38 is black, uses the orignial fop32
2cooltek fop38 is silver because he uses the fop32-1

2coolteks has no annodizing (just bare aluminum,thats why its silver)and a clip that exerts more force than the black original but they are the exact same size and the cooling potential is the same. The 2cooltek fop38 is technically approved while millisecs isn't but there is no performance difference. Think twice before buying this hsf, even hardcore overclockers will be bothered by the noise. And use a 3-4pin converter because the delta fan will kill standard mobo fan headers.

I had the fop 32-1 duron 650@850 49c , I got a delta black label and put it on making it a flop 38-1 and i am at 650@927 49c and i raised the voltage. I'm wondering if i can put a peltier on the sucker and put the original fan back on. I'm wondering this since its way to loud and if i can get the same performace outta a peltier i would be happy. Do you guys know where i can get a peliter kit for a slot a chip ?
