FOP32: sucks from or blows onto chip?

Hello all, I always thought the globalwin FOP32 sucked air out from the heatsink (like an exhaust), until I put my hand there a few minutes ago, and could not feel the air/heat blowing out. There was some air moving there, but not what I'd expect from a 4.5k rpm fan! My temps are fine, T'bird 800@1000 48C full load. But just curious...

Blows down onto the heatsink.

you can mount it the other way so it pulls air out , that works good if you make ducting to the outside of the case with it

Ah... I see. Does this apply for all heatsink fans? So I can assume that the 3dcard fans also blow onto the heatsink?

Alpha's "suck" but that is because of their design.

Most other heatsinks have fans that blow onto them.
