If this is answered already, I'm sorry. Didn't find by search..

Going to buy the new Duron 850mhz "soon" and of course going to oc it, maybe not to the absolute max, but still... I've heard about fop32's big brother to be too loud for some people, so I just want to know is fop32 enough? I would gladly buy something else, but the local stores have so little to choose from. (note, I live in Scandinavia. Not so easy to get the lates stuff. :| ).

and btw.. how far you think I could push the Duron 850mhz? In the case that the cpu, mobo and memory I receive will overclock without probs. Of course, that wont happen to me. :)

The FOP32 is one of the best if not the best. You won't have any problems if you use it to cool your duron.

It does a great job on my TBird 750 even @1030 :D

The only bad things I can say is the clip is a little shakey, lots of them fall apart but can be easily re-assembled/fixed. The fan tends not to be too loud, like its big brother but has a whine. I had a fan the same size, cut out all the insides. Useing what's left as an intake "tube" gave it a lower duller tone.

The blokes I am buying my 1.2GHz TBird at the moment have their own 1.2GHz systems at 1.44 and 1.4GHz respectively with the FOP32-1. I'd say that it'd cool a duron 850 with its fan off!! ;) (Please do not try this!! :p)

I'm thinking of getting a FOP 32-1 as well. Also considering a Hedgehog. Right now I have a Coolermaster 6h51 cooling my Duron 700@1000. If you are worried about the whine of the fan, then either get a new 60mm fan, or get a 60mm to 80mm fan adapter. That way you can put a 80mm fan on the heatsink (given you have enough room), that will push more air and will be quieter than the 60mm stock fan. Its win win, if you can fit it.

I just bought one from a guy online w9design (nate@laferle.com) for $8. He makes them himself and they seem pretty good. Email me if you want my opinions once I get it installed. Should be by Friday 2/9 this week.

hehehe blokes :D

I love going to outback steakhouse here in the states and watching the people trying to figure out if they are "Blokes" or "sheilas" when going to the restrooms! It's quite funny!
