Damn he got blown up thats embarrassing for a linebacker.

His teammates are going to give him hell.

Nice...back when I was in high school we were playing a game and our fullback broke a run down the middle of the field...only thing between him and the endzone was a safety.....the safety came running up to put the hit on....our guy lowered his head and plowed full speed into him. Safety went down but our guy kept going and we scored. Game had to be delayed for almost 45 minutes while they treated the safety and then had a helicopter land on the field to take him to the hospital. Most brutal hit I have ever seen.

It's called low center of gravity. The DB looked like he tried to tackle him with his body straight up. That ain't pretty. How did he expect to tackle him? By pulling him back toward him ?

Kind of like the guy returning the kickoff during last week's Packer game. The kicker ended up sending him flying off the field.

Yeah. It was a UNC LB. Anyone that watches ACC football knows that Jones is a monster. He didn't do well against Ga Tech but he can run down tacklers as seen in the UNC game.

Last year against Clemson, he ran all over them. It took 3-4 people to bring him down in the 4th quarter.

Last year he ran all over Miami as well. If only they would have had a marginally decent quarterback they would have won.

I've been on the receiving end of those hits :( I played a DB and a lot of times when tackling a receiver you expect the guy to be an easy kill. So you just run towards him and try to put a good hit on him, without lowering yourself or anything. Well, sometimes those skinny receivers knock you into the ground. You get up and ask yourself how the hell did that happen?

I think the ball carrier is a RB and the would-be tackler is a safety.

Anyone remember Ronnie Lott trying to tackle Mark Bavaro and getting carried down the field? :)

Hard to believe he's a LB with that size and the fact that he's wearing #24... I know college is a bit different for # assignments, but umm... it's just not likely he's a LB rather than some kinda DB.
