Foosball

I learned in 1975 in college playing against Iranian students. Even though I never got as good as some of them, I still got very good. Then after I dropped out of college in '76 and joined the Air Force, I pretty much was the best player around for a few years. I always played goallie because nobody else could stop the better players stuff. I still scored most of the points.

I quit playing about 1981 and haven't played a single game since. I recently started playing again and to my suprise, I've still got it (I'm 46 years old now).

Anybody here good at this game?

im no good but i like it

the thing about foosball is that it is horrible to play on a table short of bar-quality. i HATE cheap foosball tables

lol one of my friends has a foosball table. It was funny as hell when one of my friends was spinning the goalie like a dumb fvck trying to block the incoming balls. The goalie character snaped off (it was previously cracked) and hit him in his righ eye. LOL what an idiot.

ROFL! That would've been great to witness...tell me that the opponent scores in the empty goal immediately too, to add insult to injury 🙂

Air Force huh. That's when I first learned how to play. Waiting for the planes to return at night we would have tourney's. I was always pretty good at the slide shot. Dragging the ball about 2 inches then flipping it past the goalie. Made a high percentage of them. I haven't played since I PCS'd from my last duty assignment 🙁

i stopped playing around 1993. A friend of mine and I owned everyone. I've never had a chance to play since :frown: i really doubt i'm any good anymore though. oh, airhockey is awesome too. I've been in college 2 years, haven't lost yet! (only played about 15 games at school lol)
