Who says she has to know I'm fooling around with my ex once every 3 months? My ex girlfriend lives 300 miles away and travels here on business a few times a year, big deal.

The point I was trying to make (rather sloppily, I might add) was that if I had potential with a new girl, I'd cut off &quot;negotiations&quot; with the ex immediately. And my ex would do the same for me. It's an agreement we have.

Sex with the Ex can be one of two things. Both are extremes. Either it is purely a fling for old times sake with an ex-partner who knows what buttons to push or it's an ex-partner who knows what buttons to push and has you insane again and remembering why you broke up.

For some of the younger, inexperienced members in here who like to take pot shots *cough Viper GT cough*, I felt a clearer explanation was warranted so that they could better understand the finer points of dating and casual sex.

About two years ago, I broke up w/my ex. I moved out and got my own place. We were both dating other people, but nothing serious. She would only call at 3 in the freakin' morning, wasted out of her skull, which was why I dumped her in the first place. I drink, but if I'm gonna get wasted, I do it at home and NEVER get behind the wheel...had one too many close calls when I was younger (stupid). But she would go out and get obliterated. I let her booty call me the first couple of times but either:

A) Immediately after sex she'd puke all over the bed, bedroom, carpet, furniture and bathroom, which does ZERO for your self-esteem and ego

or

B) Say something really cool like &quot;you know, you screw real good but I still think you're a sonofabithc and why did you leave me and do you know I cry anddd.....................

I have a girlfriend now that I don't cheat on. Been tempted. OH boy, been tempted. But I wouldn't wanna know that she cheated on me. Personally, being a single Player sucks. You don't get laid often enough, but being a single guy in a committed relationship AND YOU BOTH HAVE YOUR OWN APARTMENT rocks the house!
