As the title explains, please. Sort of similar to Chicken Cordon Bleu, except with beef.

The beef was thin...maybe 1/8" thick, rolled up to the thickness of about a "D" battery. Inside were mushrooms, cheese and some (a few) veggies. Man, it was tasty. No sauce...just the natural beef juices.

And yeah, I realize this post is full of innuendo. I know. I just want to know what the hell it's called so i can look up the receipie and cook it. Thanks.!

I don't know the name, but I want to try it!!!

There is a place in Chicago the has real thin steak, they season it and roll it up, then bread it and deep fry it.
They put it on Vienna bread with a kick ass red sauce. What a sammich!!

Bob,

I had this at the restaurant the wife and I went to for Valentine's Day. What a surprise! I was expecting the worst...as is normal for a big, expensive type restaurant on a mass-produced holiday.

When they brought the main course I was like "WTF? What...is...that? Ooooh....smells...good...looks DELICIOUS!!!" 😀

And I proceeded to destroy the plate. Man, it was TASTY. I hope someone can shed some light on this.

I know what you're talking about, don't know the name. It was probably flank or skirt steak? Gimme some time and I'll find ya something on food.com

Found with search "flank steak roll"

*ding-ding-ding-ding!!!!*

That's IT!! OMG...that's it. Dude...this was just THAT good. By looking at it and eating it, I knew it was "double cooked" somehow. I.E. first on the stove then in the oven. I just wasn't sure how or how much.

Thanks for the link!!
