I planned on sleeping in late today, apparently my stomach had other ideas. That is the most VILE puke I have ever smelled. :disgust:

I barfed about five or six times over a period of 4 hours. I will NEVER eat at that place again.

Now I just have to see if I can get to store to buy some soup feeling as weak as I do.

Wish me luck, and have a happy fourth! :)

Good luck! Maybe you should have some Taco Bell to calm your stomach down :)

Thanks for the support, guys.

Damaged,
Actually that was part of the experience, I just didn't want to gross people out too much. ;)

yobarman,
It was a local place, not a chain. I've eaten there many times before without any problems, but this one bad experience is enough to keep me away from it for the rest of my life I think.

Food poisoning, kidney stones and root canal, it doesn't get much worse! Hang in there!

I had severe food poisoning once way back in college. I was stupid and gave it to myself, so I won't go into details of how I got it, but will say it was from mayonaise.
Every morning for over a week, almost same time each A.M., I lived in the bathroom for a few hours each day. I was fine the rest of the day, but every morning . . .
Doc said just had to let it work it's way out! Always thought it was odd that it just afflicted me so severely each morning.

Uhm... around these parts, we call it "morning sickness" ... did a kid pop out of you 9months later??

No, it wasn't morning sickness. No kids until 10 years later! You guys are brutal. I'll think twice before I confess again!

If so, ALWAYS invite Sam & Ella to your future picnics.

:)

Seriously, get well soon. Sometimes, immediately after noticing the food was bad, drinking a couple of tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar may help kill the 'bugs'. After the event is over, acidophillus (as in unpasteurized youghurt) helps to restore the intestinal balance.

The cure sounds worse than the affliction. ;)

As an update, I was feeling better for a while. Now I'm starting to feel sick again. :disgust:

Might just be my stomach complaining because I haven't eaten in about 24 hours now. ;) Time to try some soup. Tomorrow I have to give a speech in one of my classes. I don't think this is a good omen.

Once again, thanks for the support and suggestions.

Yah, drink lots of water to flush out the liquid. Eat Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and toast to flush out the solids. And good luck.

i have not been sick in years. its amazing really. i get colds every once in a while, and they get a little worse if i am lacking in sleep. i rarely if ever take cold medicine, and i have to be really really desparate to do so.

my grandfather spent a couple of days in the hospital because of some rare african bug that he got from food poisoning. that was about 6 months ago.

Ouch, hang in there. I got food poisoning from the local Wendy's not too long ago, and I doubt I'll ever be moved to eat there again.

Rest up and feel better! :)

I don't think I've ever had food poising before, although my lactose intolerance has given me some discomfort. Sorry to hear that you're suffering so much.

Been there, know your pain, hope you feel better real quick. Whatever strain I had was very contagious; I went to the hospital and was quarantined. I ate a can of soup I knew I shouldn't have the can was, let?s just say, "expanding".
