Food poisoing

This is terrible. Empty stomach, almost delusional with thirst, can't keep anything down either direction, sipping Gatorade... I guess if it is this bad tomorrow morning I'll go to the doctor.

The only thing is that I can't drive or wait around in a doctor's waiting room, so will I go to the ER?

I couldn't decide whether or not to puke or shit when I had it. I had it all night but it was gone the next morning.

My buddy almost died from eating a bad hotdog at a gas station. Funny thing was, half way through the thing he said it tasted funny and chucked it out the window, next day sick as a dog.

No what is bad about food poisoning is running to the bathroom knowing you have diarrhea and you have to vomit. Wondering if you will be able to hold the diarrhea while you vomit because trying to flush the diarrhea before you vomit might not work out......

According to my Doc, there are other things that cause those symptoms other then food poisoning. People always seem to think it's food poisoning.

Roger that! I had Norwalk a few weeks ago and it was horrible. My GF had it so bad she had to have IV fluids.

I remember a discovery show, where a cub scout accidentally ate raw hamburger and got ecoli poisoning. After a few days in the hospital, he was improving, but then drank some soda and his intestines exploded and he died.

been there done that. just sit on the toilet and put a trash can between your legs. when you heave to puke you can just relax your bowels and let it all flow out.

Only time it happened to me, I ran to my guest bathroom because it was closer. I was a bachelor so I didn't have a trashcan in there. I didn't leave that room for 10 hours, I just layed on the floor. If i could have reached a phone, I would have called 911.

I was told by my doc that if I got a fever of 101 or higher with cramps or vomiting to go to the ER.

Keep a close watch on that temp

Ughh... that's like the worst thing in the world.

Last time that happened to me was years ago when an old boss treated me to this fancy 5-star seafood restaurant in Seattle. The cioppino nearly killed me. I won't eat squid/calamari to this day.
