I get gas after eating pasta with olive oil and parmigiano. Besides parmigiano having barely any lactose, I'm not lactose intolerant. What else could be causing this? I know the population of ATOT is full of medical experts, so help me out.

Are you using more oil than you usually eat in a meal? If a meal has more fat than you're used to that can sometimes give you an upset stomach (possibly gas). Another possibility is something to do with wheat gluten in the pasta. If you really want to find out, try a meal with just boiled pasta, a meal of half a cup of olive oil, and a meal of pure parm. If no results, try them two at a time. It'll be horrible, but you must know!

Hey, that's a good idea, apart from the bit about it being horrible. Still worth a shot though.
