Food for thought... Recruiting users/machines???

So here is the thought... Feedback, thoughts, other ideas are welcome.

We need to increase the amount of new blood into the team stats..... So how can we do it? How can we get people to sign on to the team? How can we get people to add more cows to the heard? Well rewarding them might work..... I am not sure of a fair way to determine who gets the reward... but I am willing to donate prize blocks to the winners of contests every week.... Maybe something like the person who grew their output by the biggest % over the last week gets 2 Dual proc 733s cracking in their name for the next week. (They would no qualify for the contest for the next week of course ).... Anyone have any other thoughts ideas? What about something for new members?

Come on everyone get off your butt and crack those blocks by hand if you have to......

I'll hit up the people I've done trades with in the FS/FT forum and see what kind of response I get. The top motivators seem to be stats, pride in AnandTech, and the camraderie of the team itself, with some people also having a strong interest in the scientific aspects of the projects. Wish me luck!

Ask, ask, ask, ask, ask , ask, ask, ask, ask. And when you are tired of asking, ask some more. Nothing can beat persistence. Find those people who might have access to large numbers of computers at wokr. Network Admins might be a good target.

Hit your family and friends up too. They might think you are weird, I know mine do, but that will almost always net a new computer or two. They might just think the cow is cute.

Or you could always just buy more computers, I got two new ones coming this week.
