Foo fighters

Went to see them in concert once, with my old girlfriend. not sure how they sounded though - it was indoors, and a small venue (The Pageant in St. Louis) and they had it turned up wayyyy too loud. So most of what I heard just sounded like noise (once the source gets above a certain volume, my hearing aid will distort it, and if I take the aid out, I have trouble sometimes hearing the full range, especially in an already-noisy environment).

On a somewhat related note, do you know what a foo fighter was?

WWII UFO, right?

Nate

Actually the fighter planes that were supposedly chasing UFOs.

No.

Bomber crews (Mostly though fighter pilots saw them as well) witnessed balls of light swarming around their aircraft during flights. Not knowing what they were, they just started calling them Foo Fighters.

I know. As soon as I posted it I said to myself, "That's not right you idiot" and edited my post with a link.
