Fonts on monitor have weird red appearance

I'm on a computer at work and for some reason the extremities of fonts appear to have a reddish tinge to them. If I fill a cell in excel with a red background parts of the fonts actually disappear. Anyone know how to fix this?

Disable ClearType or use ClearType tuner.
