Fonts in Opera for Linux?

I installed Opera on my Red Hat 7 system, and all the fonts are so tiny as to be illegible. They are so small that I can't read any of the buttons or menus where they might be changed. Also some of my fonts in Netscape are huge, like an inch high? Anybody else experienced this problem?
