Fonts Changed After Changing GFX Card

I have just switched from a Nvidia based card to an Ati based one, & I have uninstalled Nvidia Detonator & installed ATi Catalyst. My question is, why have all the fonts changed in windows? The fonts seem to look slightly different in desktop, toolbars, apps' menus etc., & so are the sizes. I have tried changing the fonts, but never managed to make it look exactly the same when I was using the Nvidia card.
Do different manufacturer's drivers use different fonts?
