Fonts are blank?

I have a custom program that uses the Letter Gothic font for printing reports (created in crystal reports). On one workstation, running windows XP these reports are printing completely blank. I went into the windows fonts folder to verify that the letter gothic fonts were registered only to find that when I double clicked on the font to view it the font preview is totally blank.

I deleted the letter gothic fonts from the fonts folder and reinstalled them using copies from another workstation. The fonts print fine on the other workstation, but when I install them on this one, they print blank no matter what I do.

Any Ideas? I've searched the internet extensively and have been unable to find any solutions to this problem.

You could try using Powertoys Tweak UI and do a font folder repair.

I remember have some sort of similar font problem on an old win98 install. I think it was mainly from too many fonts installed, but I don't know if XP has that same limitation.

jjones,

That Tweak UI tip did the trick.:beer::beer::beer::beer: for you! Thanks again.
