font size issue with GAIM

my problem is with font size in GAIM. My font isnt the problem, its other people's font size. When they IM me, their font is so small i can barely read it. Using AIM, their font size is ok. Is there any way to increase their font size?

i guess it cant be done..

You can just choose not to show formatting on incoming messages. It's an option under the conversations tab in preferences.
