have my wifes friend computer here, running windows 98 se. somehow she increased the font size on it to the point where the windows are too large for viewing. ive tried going into display properties to try to change settings in there but it its too large to for me to hit the "apply" button. anyone have any idea what i can do to change the font/screen size?

Cool! Glad it worked. I'd suggest using some type of virus scanner on it in the future instead of just hoping that you won't get one 🙂

well..ive been thru this once before with her...last time i had to reformat it..12 viruses on it so i did install nortons 2000 on it for her and she has been running regular updates on it. it caught and quarenteed the virus but it could not fix it so i just downloaded a "fix" from symantecs site..

personally ive never gotten a virus on my computer..and thats even with the wife and two kids using it🙂

Neither have I..on any of my three computers. Of course, I still run norton 2002 as a safety net just in case I have a momentary lapse 🙂
