Font Managers

idea

Golden Member
I installed 2000 more fonts that I downloaded from some website for $10 (1001freefonts.com if you're interested) and now Quark is freaking out and won't start. I doubt that's the last problem I'm gonna see from having over 3000 fonts. Someone told me to use a Font Manager. Which should I use? I have Adobe Font Folio and Adobe Type Manager on CD, I'm not sure which one does what I need... anyone happy with the one they are using?

Thanks for the help notfred. You really know my situation. Obviously no one buys $5000 programs. That's why Adobe isn't the most successful company in desktop publishing today.

Chances are you did not purchase Font Folio. If you work for a development company, you may have a copy of it... but just the fact that you have no idea what it does and have a copy of it does not bode well for your legailty.
