Hello, I would need help changing my current noisy System.
Sys: TBird 1.1Ghz
MSI K7T Pro2
Geforce 2 GTS 32mb
FK-603
Cooling: Taisol GK492 with sunon 60mm 20cfm (i find it pretty noisy because of it produced a high pitch hum)

- What fan 80mm fans would be recommended?
- Would i be better buying the original fan for the Taisol?
- What would be the best airflow position for all the fans?
- Would i better off putting a 80mm fan on the HS with an adapter?
- I need a good AMD Approuved Power Supply

Sorry about all the questions but i can't afford to buy and be dissapointed.

The Original Taisol fan is probably quieter... Sunon's aren't exactly the quietest fans out there.

As far as 80mm fans, if you're going for quiet, consider Panaflo's, which are available at low-cost and pretty darn quiet-performance...

Have the back "ducted" fan as an exhaust, and the front fan as intake.

Do you think it would be a good idea to open up the PS and change the internal fan with a panaflow?

I'm not sure what that Sunon fan is rated at noisewise... however,
the original 60mm x 10mm Delta fan that Taisol uses is rated @ 36db. That's probably louder than your Sunon. I have one, and although it's certainly quieter than anything with the Delta "black label" fan (i.e. FOP38), I wouldn't really describe it as "quiet."
