Peabody and pnyc: Sorry about the wait, but you should have the tracking number so it should let you know when it gets there. :) LMK when you get it and test it, thanks! :D

Thank you deds and cdternie for the compliments! :) I wanted to make sure that these expensive chips got where they needed to go without getting broken! :)

Well, I hope everyone else is doing well. :)

Btw, pics of the chips will be posted soon! :D

I got mine today! Thursday. (curse the slow USPS around here!)

They work great and were packaged with such care I just had to sit back and stare in awe for a while!!!! :Q

Thanks for giving me consecutive serial numbers too!
They work GREAT on the ASUS CUSL2 with an ALPHA PAL 6035 providing the cool.
Temps are 33C at idle, 41C at 100% load for 20 minutes (using Quake3) while running other applications in Win2K Pro :) . I can leave Q3 running in a window (which pegs the cpu at 100%) and run any other application I want without hardly noticing a slowdown. :Q

Still waiting on mine too. I am hoping for a delivery today. USPS still says that it is enroute to its deliver. Over XMas, one package that I was waiting for from them took over 2 weeks with Priority Mail. I know that is a rare case but I sure hope that doesn't happen again. 3 days from TX to GA should be plenty. :)

Woohoo...

From USPS tracking:
Your item arrived at SUWANEE GA 30024 at 5:04 am on February 23 and is scheduled for delivery.

Hopefully I will be able to tell you how it works tonight.

I just got the CPU an hour ago, the packaging was great and the processor was well protected. Tested it with Intel Processor Frequency ID Utility and WcpuID and it all looks good. I also ran some tests with Sandra and the performance checks out as well. Im running Prime95 right now and the system is perfectly stable.

Thanks again for a hot deal and a great chip.

Schmo: Sorry to hear about your problems with USPS. :( Unfortunately, I have no control over that. :(

Glad everyone is liking their chips and the packaging. I hope you didn't mind the extra day wait since I had to go buy packaging for it. :) Better than wrapping it up in newspaper, eh? ;)

cdternie: Hehe, thanks for the constant support! :D

So if you guys are all happy with everything, mind giving me a little Heatware loving? ;) Thanks! :D

Just got my chip today. It was supposed to get here yesterday, but it was snowing so I saw the postman drove by and didn't bother stop and drop off the package at my door 8( Checked online tracking and it says they attempted to deliver the item and left a note....yeah sure, I was standing by the door and saw him drove by 8(
But anyway, I got the chip, and installed fine. The temperature stays around 34-40 degrees C with Globalwin FOP32. It sometimes goes up to 42 when running finally reality and some cpu stability test program. I can't wait to get my Radeon AIW back from my friend and try to capture stuff in 480x480 Mpeg2 8)

Thanks for the great deal Junthin, will go leave a positive heatware feedback later when I figured out how.

Junthin,

Please don't think I was complaining about you, cuz I wasn't! :) You have been great through this whole process! The USPS did attempt to deliver it today but I wasn't there. :( I will pick it up tomorrow morning and let you know how it works out!

tenchi: Glad to hear you got your chip. If you need help on Heatware, PM and I'll give you a walkthrough. :)

Schmo: Nope, didn't think you were complaining at all. ;) I know how it is with USPS. Their service has gotten a bit worse since the new years (and the new rate hike), but they still beat UPS HANDS DOWN! :) LMK when you get it and how things run, thanks! :)

And for everyone else, *whew*, so glad no chips arrived damaged so for! :) <knock on wood, crosses fingers>

Let me know how everyone else is doing. Time2Kill, did you get your problem fixed?

Jonathon,
I picked the chip up at the PO on Saturday morning. Everything is running fine. I accidentally booted up at 155 FSB(that's where the previous CPU was set). The chip actually posted but would not go into Windows. It appears to be running pretty well at 150 FSB though with 1.95V(would actually lock up after a few minutes with 1.9V Will test it later on for stability. I'm off to leave heatware for you now.

Thanks

This is using a BE6-II v2. Not quite stable at 150 FSB using Iwill Slocket II. Runs pretty well but the system will lockup shortly after starting Prime95. I think it might be pretty close to being stable because usually I get BSOD's or illegal operation errors if CPU is not stable...system just freezes up in this case. Will try it on a CUSL2 and see if it runs more stable.
