follow up to IRQ problem.... 2 questions...

ok, I was having a problem with my soundblaster IRQ conflicting with the PCI IRQ. I fixed that and my reboot time went from 2 minutes to 1 minute. It used to be like 30 seconds, but I'll take what I have for now. Now in the system information I have a free IRQ, IRQ 3.

  • I can not move any devices to IRQ 3. Is this normal? I reboot and it stays free.

  • Windows would not allow me to move much of anything. Are there IRQ's that certain devices are supposed to be on or not allowed to be on?
