Follow up questions after a job application is submitted

So I applied for a full time position (non-teaching) at a college a few weeks ago. I know that the search process began this week so I want to call and find out who is chairing the comittee and what their timetable is. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I should be asking? I do want a few questions answered (listed below), but I mainly want to make sure they know my name.

Is there any other information that I can provide that would be helpful?
What is the process from here?
Who is chairing the committee?
Is this a newly created position?
