Are there any stores around that sell cheap furniture (couches, bookshelves, desks, entertainment centers, coffee tables, etc).

I remember this place in the downtown area that's an old warehouse that sold a lot of used items...it had several used couches and other goods...

Thanks for the help,

poor college student.

w00t I was at RIT for a little over 4 years. As for cheap furniture, I think those goodwill stores are the hookup. We never had a problem with needing furniture, but there's a huge goodwill location somewhere in the city, but I can't remember where it is. So basically my post is pointless.

Oh yeah, one time we got two totally sweet ottamon's from someone's trash. They were supringly handy on our porch.

yah. we just got a house in the 19th ward district. We have a porch and a basement that we need to fill with some couches and other goods (ottomons/end tables)

Nice. I used to live off of Culver and Park Ave. It was an awesome area because of the small town feel it had. Our place was huge and cheap too.

I'm not sure about furniture, but there are a ton of pc parts(namely crt monitors) being sold on ebay being shipping from Rochester. I can't make out if they are all the same store under different aliases, or they all just pounced on a bunch of office dumpsters.
