Folding with an APU?

Hey all.
So I've been using a cheap little A10 6800k rig to Fold with for a while now.
Using CPU folding. I know it's not popular anymore as people have switched to GPU folding.
I'm wondering if I can run the GPU client on an APU? If so, will Richland's 8670 gpu be any faster than the CPU client?

This rig does very minor gaming, mostly used for web&office software. Which is why I leave Folding on 24/7.

I've done BOINC World Community Grid GPU WUs on a Llano quad-core APU, and I'm currently crunching Einstein@Home GPU WUs on my Kabini dual-core (128 GCN shaders).
