Folding via GPU in Linux

I see that CUDA (I assume that is what the nvidia folding @ home client uses) is cross-platform. Currently, only Windows is supported by the GPU client.

Has anyone figured out a way to get it working in Linux (via WINE?) without it being slower than CPU folding?

I tried using WINE, but said that it did not find a supported GPU, running the latest drivers from nVidia's website.

thanks

There's a wiki to help you through setting it up: link

It's not trivial. If you're running 64 bit ubuntu, I could help.
