i always do quick & dirty folds. i iron clothes before i wear them if i need them to be wrinkle free anyway, so folding is a waste of time...

At least you don't have to put up with the crap I do...

I just did a load of laundry. I live in an apartment and the dryers here SUCK... All of my towels and jeans are still wet....thus the rest of my clothes are too. They're those old school coin accepters too so I can't add anymore quarters. All of my laundry is hanging up in my apt until it dries. I can't wait to get a house this fall and buy a DECENT dryer.

I just pile the clothes on the sofa in the living room and fold clothes while watching TV.

You get used to it.

The laundry mats I went to were very dirty. Also most of the cylinders were broken. When the agitator spun the clothes, the entire cylinder moved. That pretty much equaled nothing being cleaned. Noone knew this because the washers would stop when opened, but I pushed the button to reveal that the machines were all broken. Also the wash cycles were extremely short. Like 5 minutes. I would see homeless people filling up the washers with water and using them as baths.

solution : Wear no clothes. I reserve a single sock to cover the vital area. Other than that it's perfect weather in CA to go in the buff.

All of my clothes get hung up in the closet (besides boxers and socks obviously) so no folding for me.

Nope. Boxers get stuffed on one side of the drawer, socks on the other. :)

hahahaha that's precisely WHY i don't fold my boxers and socks.

Actually, that's not quite accurate. I do fold my socks, but not to the exact milimeter required when i was in. I just take a pair and fold the tops over now, then throw 'em in a drawer.

For those that don't know how to fold shirts in 2 seconds, here's a good tutorial (posted on ATOT a while back). It's amazing to watch, but it really does work.

I remember watching my college roommate dump clean clothes right out of the basket into the dresser. First time I asked him why he didn't fold any, he told me, "Only fools fold."
