Core 2 of my machine is working just fine.

[07:07:29] + Attempting to send results
[07:10:51] + Results successfully sent
[07:10:51] Thank you for your contribution to Folding@Home.
[07:10:51] + Number of Units Completed: 5

Should I just delete the 1st core and reinstall? I hate to lose 2 completed units, however that core is only working on unit 3 while my second core is on unit 5.

No do not delete them, at least not yet.

Did you try stopping and restarting that client?

Another thing that might work is to use a special shortcut just for sending results.
Make a shortcut to the client and in the Target textbox of Properties add the following: " -local -verbosity 9 -send all" without the quotes. You have to stop the client before using this shortcut.

If that doesn't work, there is a program that can sometimes fix a problem. The name is "qfix.exe" and can be found at the folding forum, if you need it I can probably find the page.

It is not unusual for the two cores to get different WUs. The first probably got a couple long WUs.

Have you considered trying the Win SMP or Linux SMP clients. They are still in open beta, but you only run the one client and it will use up to four cores. It gives better points per day (ppd) than two regular clients.

GLeeM, I tried adding the "-local -verbosity 9 -send all" flag and had no luck.

I found the qfix in the folding forums. I'll give that a try. Once again, thanks for the help.

Are you sure a firewall isn't blocking the transmission?

I agree w/ GLeeM on possibly giving the SMP clients a try. You'll appreciate the better PPD :)

No firewall issue. Core 2 had no problems transmitting.
I'll give the SMP a try.

make sure you stop your other clients (and don't let them re-start/remove as service if you have them istalled that way) before you install the SMP!!!

With my firewall, Zonealarm, I have to give the OK to every client.

Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet) - this indicates that the client cannot even send a simple http packet.

Double check the firewall ;)
