Thanks for the stats nate!

I'm getting some nice WUs the past couple days... p1478 is a new one that gives me 364 points and only takes about 21 hours to finish on my gaming rig (A64 Winchester @ 2.2 GHz) which makes for 400+ ppd.

I wonder what my ppd would be if I had one of those fancy new dual core CPUs... time to start savin pennies again

wow, I'm doing a 1477 right now and it is taking about twice that long for ~220PPD on a Barton @ 2.1GHz... You sure about that PPD?

You betcha... if you look at my EOC stats page you'll see that I was averaging about 600 ppd for most of the last couple weeks and then all of a sudden, the last two days I have been over 1000. I've had some 1K days before but never two in a row.

I haven't added any crunchers, in fact I even had folding turned off on my gaming PC several hours each of the last two days while I was playing Guild Wars. I don't know how/why Stanford benched p1478 as 364 points - unfortunately my farm is back on Tinkers as of this morning which only get me about 200 ppd... :p

EDIT: The plot thickens... I checked my logs, my Barton (2.07 GHz) and Winchester (2.2 GHz) have both been doing 1477s and 1478s (364-point Gromacs WUs) the last couple days. The Barton takes about 22 minutes per frame for 238 ppd, the Winchester only 12:30 minutes per frame for a whopping 419 ppd! So there must be something about my gaming rig that makes it crush these WUs... most likely either SSE2 (which the Barton doesn't have), or extra RAM (the Winchester box has 1GB and the Barton box only has 512MB, 64MB of which is eaten by onboard graphics).
