Folding @ Home not working

Although I'm not on Vista, I couldn't get the SMP client to work either. I'm waiting for the next release to try again because I have tried 3 times.

Vista really hates any programs that tries to save/change anything under \program files\ or \program files (x86)\ (if Vista64)

Also, there's a problem with admin-privileges, to install SMP-client correctly. So, try something like this:

1; Install to another directory, example c:\fah\ or something.
2; If not already got one, make a shortcut to cmd
3; Right-click on this shortcut, choose "Run as Admin".
4; In this cmd-window, navigate to fah-directory. (cd \fah
5; Run install.bat Make sure the account you're using has a password.

And, you're ready to run FAH.

You shouldn't need to right-click and choose "Run as Admin", except when running install.bat
Oh, and in my experience, right-clicking on install.bat and choosing "Run as Admin" didn't work...

Anyway, the SMP-client has various bugs, so even if you've managed to install it correctly, it's not certain it will work for you...
