Folding@Home GPU Client

I'm not completely sure what caused this but when I open the display and look at the performance (iterations/sec)....it used to hover around 1100 and now it hovers around 2200.

I'm not sure if its the new 6.20 client OR if its the new driver I installed, ForceWare 177.73 Beta.

I hope someone can shed some more light on this.

I found the new client a bit faster, but not that much. I think your 8800GTS should have always been doing about 2200iter. Perhaps with the crashes you've had you were running with standard loops.

Add these flags -verbosity 9 -advmethods -forceasm. The -forceasm is most important here as it will always force optimizations ON if there was a problem previously.

Where do I add those flags?

I'm not sure, only because I don't get the option to do so in the Target box in properties. I configured it to start automatically with Windows.

Don't go by the graphics page, it will vary greatly. It is based on what client is doing. For instance i'm getting 900-20000. lol

With the new client you can add the flags when you do the config. You can redo the config by creating a shortcut to the exe and adding -configonly flag to the target.
