Welcome back. Can't speak for the others but I am still running two instances of the SMP client on my quads, along with affinity changer. One of the guides will help step you throught it. My SMP clients have been relatively trouble free once set up.

I heard the new client would be more efficient in window OSs than the old one, I'm hoping I only need to install one client. Affinity changer annoys me somewhat, I don't think it does anything nefarious it's just that I found the only way to stop it loading as a service is to un-install it! (or was that spd from the client??), even disabling the service didn't stop it!

LMK guys as SETI only has 7 new WUs left, would of been done by now if my PC hadn't BSOD this afternoon! 🙁, odd.........

Hopefully I've got all the options righ! 🙂

I think that is the one you want.

It can do the new A3 WUs that are worth a small amount and then a BIG bonus calculated on how fast you finish and return it.
I've read that it will use your four cores efficiently - in other words, you will do better running only one client.

Make sure you get and use a "passkey", you need that and you need to finish ten WUs before you will start getting the bonus!

Got a project 2665 WU atm, 96% done & showing ~2100 ppd, does that sound about right for a Q6600 @3.34 GHz? [edit] now I think about it, it was runnning alongside SETI til about 40% so it ain't a good benchmark.

"Failed to delete" is normal.

Not sure about "Missing work files". Anybody?

The WU you finished is 1,920 points. I think the "FahCore_a3.exe" WUs are the ones that give early finish bonus! (after you finish ten WUs with the new client)

Just prior to 'missing work files' it got stuck on sending the WUs result, don't know if that helps.

Does F@H still get cluttered with undeleted files?
